It's the First of May...

The First of May,

Flower petals and colored rice strewn on the ground to remind us...

The bud...

Has burst into bloom. Shakti Rising...

The Wreath.... The Kundalini Serpent... 

The Pole.... Shiva!

On tops of hills the balefires call to each,
And She calls Him who answers her in kind;
The Dance goes round, and round, and round again,
All merry colors spinning in the sun.
The wine is poured and passed, and praised and drunk
And so are we, a bit, tipsy on Love,
With song and fire and dance and heat and sweat
So merrily we came, and merry met.

Serpent Dreams

The serpent stirs in the belly of the Earth,
Dreaming Dreams.

Dreams stir in the sleep of the Serpent,
Calling Creation.

Creation stirs in the belly of the Dreams,
Serpent dreams,
Dreaming creation,
Dream, serpent.

The Earth stirs in the belly of the Serpent.
Creation awakes.
